Returning Families 

Enrollment at MillwoodsChristian School is at capacity in most grades. In order to confirm a place for the next year, current students must register by the enrolment deadline. Three re-enrolment days will be held on March 19, 20 and 21 for current students planning to return to MCS for the next year. After the enrolment deadline, any remaining openings will be made available to new registrants.  Should there be more requests than we can accommodate, EPSB will conduct a random selection process for the grades that are over-subscribed. Once a random selection process has been held, that grade will be considered full for the year.

During re-enrolment you will be asked to sign the EPSB passport to indicate your choice of school for the next year and to pay school fees owing to Millwoods Christian School. In order to complete your registration, you will also be required to set up a payment plan for MCS Society fees. A letter withinstructions and dates for re-enrolment will be available for pick up on March 5th.

New Registrations

  1.  Phone the school (780-462-2627) to request an enrollment package.
  2. If you are new to Edmonton Public Schools, you must complete an EPS Student Registration form for each student. If you are transferring from another EPS school, you must indicate this on the EPSB enrolment passport you receive from your current school. This passport must be received by Millwoods Christian before the enrolment deadline.
  3. Provide a copy of your child’s most recent report card. In cases where we require additional information, we will contact the issuing school.
  4. After re-enrolment for returning families is completed in early April, you will be contacted to confirm your new registration. In the event that we are unable to register your children because classes are full, you will be notified at this time. Because Millwoods Christian has established optimal enrolment levels, it may be necessary to hold a random selection process for some grades.
  5. If it determined that there is space available, you will be required to pay your EPS school fees and set up a payment plan for MCS Society fees in order for your registration to be considered complete. An MCSS fee schedule is included in your registration package.
  6. High school students will be required to make an additional appointment to complete their course registrations.

Kindergarten Registration: Returning Families

Kindergarten enrollment will follow the same procedure as other registrations. If you currently have students registered in an MCS program, please attend one of the re-enrolment evenings for returning families to register your kindergarten student. Places will be held for MCS families until after the re-enrolment procedure is complete. After these dates, we will assume that you have chosen not to register in kindergarten at MCS. At that time, registrations will be confirmed for new students and your place will not be held.

Kindergarten Registration: New Families 

If you do not currently have any students registered at MCS, please follow the procedure described in the section for New Registrations. You will be contacted after the middle of April to confirm your registration. For parents who have not had children in our kindergarten program, a kindergarten information session will be held in conjunction with Open House on March 15th.
