The Millwoods Christian School Society was established by Calvary Community Church to look after the needs of Millwoods Christian School. As part of legal agreement with EPSB, the MCS Society is responsible for the provision and maintenance of school facilities. More importantly, the society safeguards the school vision and supports Christian programming offered at MCS. School fees collected by MCSS and lease payments from EPSB allow the society to meet these obligations.

Vision and Mission Statement

The MCSS Vision and Mission Statement forms part of the legal agreement between the Edmonton Public School Board and the Millwoods Christian School Society.  This formal statement includes a commitment to the following:

  • God’s presence and peace will be demonstrated by the atmosphere of Millwoods Christian School.
  • Millwoods Christian School will present a program that gives equal value to the spiritual and the academic facets that make up our school.
  • Teaching staff and administration will be well trained academically as well as spiritually to carry out the program of Millwoods Christian School.
  • All students who attend Millwoods Christian School will have the opportunity to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, and to serve Him in a loving manner while in school and community.
